The “BiaBrain Volume 1 Issue 4” explores key fitness topics including the benefits of partial range of motion (ROM) training for muscle growth, the potential trade-off between muscle growth and atrophy in untrained muscles, energy utilization during high-intensity exercise, and the effectiveness of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) compared to moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT) for fat loss. The issue highlights that training at long muscle lengths (LML) may lead to greater muscle growth, and that HIIT, especially when combined with resistance training, is more effective at reducing visceral fat in postmenopausal women than MICT.
